Well… this became strange.. strange.. yes think that’s the word. Well the plot thickens
So to options
Option 1: It is in fact not a simulation and some sort of weird parallel world thing, and the elder transported over to the other world with him.
Option 2: It is a simulation, but Sena is real enough that the elder had to trick her in order to have him in the game without breaking her reality. Oh and the elder was aware enough of him to trick Sena before he entered.

What I think it is I. The mc first life he was in a different world but when he died the old lady put him in the modern world now but connect the two using vr so him and sepia meet again
Also I think it’s mirror world where both world rotate on its own until some one come over using vr and take over that person conscience that what I think 🤔
