Finally Najime said/did something that actually was of importance and wasn’t just a dumb gag that pissed on her/his character.
Najime was the third character that was really introduced in the story and actually had a background with Hitohito, no Najimi had this with everyone. So you’d think the character would have at least function like some sort of mcguffin… But nope. Instead the character was sidelined, was never utilized at all and was just annoying.
Worse… Every single character in the manga has at least some sort of story arc of their own that showcases them. The only one that doesn’t is Najime.
Since Najime was friends with everyone yet always kept everyone at arms length you could say they did not have a single friend. Najime even spent Christmas with HitoHito etc suggesting that they didn’t even really have a family to spend time with. With all this there could have been one a really interesting arc in the story…
But now it seems that it will never happen.
At best we’ll just get some kind of weird joke where Najime shows up pregnant and jokes about it being a pillow… or something like that…
Icho is such chaos incarnate. And a menace. Same for Najimi. Though there’s still some truth to what they said, like ‘tadano simp’ said. Just because somebody is disruptive doesn’t mean they don’t have profound thoughts to impart.
