Well I would’ve argued a bit differently, but in essence the same.:
First: As soon as some starts with human-, beast-, ghost- and demon kin. I would be out.
Why? Its racist bullshit. Of Course demons are evil from the human perspective, but from the demons pov it may be a little different.
Analog to our world, the Us basically summoned two “heroes” on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WW2, to “get rid of evil”.
If you ask the US they would argue that it was the “right thing” to do, ask Japan and they might think differently
Second: innocent bystander is pretty much a good excuse to get out of their clutches.
Third: if you summon me without consulting me first, with no why of returning, the least you can do is give me money and may be a book or two about the world.

Dood wears glasses and dresses different and is out of place…is then surprised that someone on the street calls him “out of this world”? MC got hooked by creepy psychic.

If they’re evil he just dug his own grave, and without fortune teller plot armor he knows nothing about this world and would get himself killed prettty quick

This has to be one of the most uneventful origins I’ve seen (no in a bad way). No diabolical plotting and the royalty just let him leave. Even if his classmates called him out it didn’t come off as any bridge burning. He just straight up walks away

Gonna take a wild guess here. The demonkin aren’t actually evil, the humankin just want to get rid of them and summoned the heroes to do their bidding. Everything the king said was very convenient too. How would they know that the “hero’s” presence back home would be erased? why does the enemy leader so conveniently know the way to get them home? How do they know going home would un erase them? why did they pick children, the easiest to manipulate and imprint on age group, to be summoned as heroes?
You’ll have to excuse me if im not surprised if it goes this route, I’ve seen this opening before.

Bro why didn’t he at least ask for some money, being that they were literal royalty he could have got enough money (with a little of persuasion) to last him a while if not for life, like bro why you do this? Also I like the fact that if they were to kill the Demon king then they would have no chance of returning home
