he is smart but stupid. i thought it pass the common dumb MC but now im dissapointed. also to author im dissapointed he/she miss the important part of his creation. first the power system didnt get much effort and explanation and now the sudden inhuman behavior of MC even a villain might not think that way tho.

He’s selfish and he’s a hypocrite. There needs to be some major character development. Don’t even use the excuse ” If he was a charity worker it would be extremely boring.” He literally brought the bears over to the camp (accident or not) and asked for payment to save someone from said bears that he brought over. That’s not being morally grey. That’s just being a straigh prick.

Hmm I seem to remember reading this before, and dropping it. Now I’m starting to remember why. I was never a fan of the “MC is a selfish asshole” characteristic, dude would literally let people die if there was nothing to gain from it. It’s everything that you’d put on a villain, not the protagonist. unless the protagonist is supposed to be the villain, but that’s clearly not the case here. I don’t care if he has a troubled past. That doesn’t excuse his behavior, it just means he was an asshole from birth. Gonna make a note on the bio for this to make sure I remember to keep away this time.
