I remember when my feelings for my wife slowly began to shift from best friend to “oh no, she’s the one.” I can so relate to Junta here. Because you don’t want to ever damage that sweet friendship that changed your life. But…now the feelings can’t be stopped. That train has left the station, and you’ll either be run over by reality (as in Golden Time with Linda at the bridge) or jump aboard and take in the world together.
This is such a sweet story. Great to read a few chapters before tackling the day.
