the ghoul is not a problem he is truly loyal to the last Demon King, protecting and watching the princess. he is looking for a new protector for his charge, making himself the bad guy. for if he truly wanted to eat her he could have done it at anytime forcing a human to remove the chain before, and then devouring her. he even slaughtered all the monsters who may have been able to harm is lovely charge

I know fight scenes are super popular.
But sometimes I miss the comics where you just saw the combatants dive towards each other in panel one, and panel two was a giant dust-ball of motion lines, grawlix, and sound effects, and panel three was the aftermath of the fight.
It really sped up the plots.
