I just realized: he could have solved his color problem easily. Years and years back I bought a set of high class colored pencils. It came in a metal tin box with a black obi* stating the contents: high class colored pencils xxx pieces. I can’t remember if it also said which colors, tho.
Anyways, since the paint thingies he painted had also paint in it, the box should also work.
