I knew he had to have some knowledge of the previous timeline, but I didn’t expect it to be in a pseudo-oracular fashion via dreams. It does help explain his prior reluctance to pursue her though, as he couldn’t be certain of what was dream and what was reality until he witnessed his parents death and eventually met her in reality. Didn’t think I could be more invested, but this series just keeps on defying my expectations.
