So they had an assassin that was at least trice the level of the Hero… why not use him to try his luck with the Demon Emperor then? If the Heroine was strong enough to defeat the Demon Emperor, she would become almost impossible to kill since the Demon Emperor was the strongest person in the world… it would be extremely foolish to attemp and kill something you can’t kill… They sent garbage to deal with a level 100, but sent someone at level 15 or so to kill someone who supposedly killed the strongest person in the world…
