Both the MC and the leader of Iron Brigade are right. MC can only afford to uphold his ideals of justice because of having monstrous power and basically no one to care about other than several people.
Iron Brigade has a giant reputation and the mission list just as large. If they don’t do things like that, they will just be wiped out. But if they had MC among their ranks, they could just take everyone on while being just and compassionate
