I can see how this might’ve started a conflict between them, but I’m wondering if they suspected them to be in that kind of relationship or if the fact that they learnt each others secrets completely overshadowed any doubt towards them. Because if they taught each other their techniques and passed them on to the rest of their respective race at the same time then there’s obv something wrong
