Centipede is actually a misnomer, since “centi” means 1/100th. One hundred is “hecto.” So centipede really means 1/100th of a leg! Even then, that’s no hectopede; it only has 30 legs! So in reality, it should be a “tridecapede.”

And now you know!
(ok, really it was named before the 1960 International System of Units was formalized.)

I was so surprised by him letting the government know he discovered the dungeon. i was so sure he would keep it secret and use it only for himself…
will not lots of other people come now and take all the good stuff…
