MC should invest some money into building some big entry gates for the dungeon and some guards.
1) it changes everytime someone goes in, making it dangerous and unpredictable for the people inside.
They should be letting in a group of people every hour on the hour so the dungeon explorers could prepare while exploring.
2) it’s a gold mine. You can’t just have everyone in the country show up whenever for free gold. It would destabilize the market and drive the value down to nothing.
