feels like I missed a chapter or something but this is still really cool but yeah smithing with really awesome and ultra rare materials is what any smith worth their salt strives for and gets super pumped about and will literally risk their lives to do it

At first I hate how the dad is like “I’m sorry for being a neglecting father but I’m good and going to teach you now so we cool right?” But now knowing he is going to die if he fails, somehow he understood the weight of what he have done.. kind of like Paul Greyrat moment there. I also like how the side characters always mentioned that he neglected and endangered his son while he is drowning himself in alcohol.
