What a nonsensical chapter. In this situation, the right thing to do is to leave the hospital, not “persevere”. If you’re that good, plenty other hospitals will happily take you. Horrendous mismanagement and toxic workplace culture deserves to result in losing valuable personnel.
I’m also disappointed by Prof. Cho’s character. He seemed like a decent doctor with warped morals and ambitions, but now he’s just a generic sadistic villain, needlessly abusing a valuable employee. He has no reason mistreat Prof. Song.
