Do they really have to kill Zeus? What about just make him not being a dumbass and see the bigger picture? We all know Zeus was unhinged, arrogant and lustful; but he still cared to maintain Olympus and have prosperity. He was, after all, a king. It kind of bugs me when they will probably make Zeus an asshole when he’s so capable and in reality, he was a fair leader. He, like the other Gods, represented the reality of Greece and Rome (as Jupiter). I don’t get why they have to take such an important figure of European culture and make him a silly villain. I know we’ll see and we gotta wait and all that, but from what we see at the beginning he doesn’t appear. Instead fucking Heracles does, which wasn’t any better at all. How cool would it be to see Zeus, Odin and Sun Wukong the three of them kicking ass together? But nooooo, we gotta make Olympus the baddies (like in every other fucking series where there is a religion, that or either a Christinaity-like one which makes even less sense).
