Sometimes status really blind people… I mean you even might get spit on if you try to donate money to office worker while wearing homeless rags… That’s just how the world works I guess.
If a homeless person give me money the first thing I said is thank you, then I ask what do you want for it, like a trade… Maybe I could get the person some food for the money… If the person just want to give it to me then I just pray for the person well being and take the money… Done… It doesn’t matter if I have 100x more money than that person gave in my bank account… A gift is a gift 😉
It completely blows my mind, how people like that, after being saved, can actually stand in front of a person that has demonstrated the ability and means to pound that ugly useless bump between their shoulders down to a smear, and think nothing will come of their insults and attitude? I applaud the main characters’ restraint. I doubt I could have been so forgiving.
How can it be so difficult for people to imagine that a persona rank might not reflect their actual capabilities…
