What’s the point of leveling without stats increasing?

What I don’t get is why he didn’t talk with the dwarf about commerce? Could he sell corpses or materials to the dwarf? Or for enchantments? Would be hella more value to buy aluminum axes and bats, etc., enchant then auction them. Maybe avoid black market altogether.

wish they would make the leveling up a bit more realistic. The speed the MC is leveling up at is comparable to a Clan member helping me level up a lvl1 character in Diablo3 taking me into the Greater Rift and kills everything while I just follow behind and instantly get to lvl 99…
the lvl up is a joke or the system gave the humanity XP in absurd amount because they felt bad they were so weak
