folding metal 9 times ends up with 1024 layers of metal. fold once = 2 layers, fold again 4 layers, fold again 8 . Multiply by two each time up to 9 folds and that is 1024 layers!

is there any better translations of this? I think it can be good but the formatting and grammer issues make a decent story unbearable.
