Plot is turning stupid, the first time he saw her should’ve already known who she is.

I don’t particularly HATE the whole stupid plot of them not finding out about each other since outside of making mc travel around it doesn’t really impact the general plot that much, but the thing that really get’s on my nerves it the fact that mc is supposed to be a genius and always acts like it too.
Like he IS a genius if you look at his childhood and when the plot actually allows him to act smart, but the only reason he hasn’t found out about her yet is just because the plot can’t have him find out yet. I wouldn’t even have that big of a problem with it if they gave a good reason as to why the GENIUS hasn’t found out about it yet that doesn’t undermine his intelligence (well the intelligence he is supposed to have)
