Mc is at a different level of stupid…not only did he sell the staff, he was about to pay her for appraising it. normally that won’t be a problem except that she already said she’s needed it to level up her appraisal skill which has been stuck for a while.

nope, if anything you should be paying me or at least waive the appraisal cost because your gaining long term benefits; after you improve your skill it value will be worth more allowing you to increase the cost of your services.
