Is the MC unable to learn magic by chance? If he could, he wouldn’t need to spawn things like flamethrowers to cheat his way through monsters and things that can’t easily be attacked with swords 
…. I don’t know how only monitoring them when they have their weapon out is gonna stop cheating.
Also that spraycan/flame technique definitely had more oomph than it does on Earth.

I’m guessing the fact that the guild couldn’t see how he got the tree branches is gonna be a problem
I want to say poor trees why would the mc do that, but I know I would’ve done the exact same thing. Actually no I would’ve threatened the trees worse than the mc, I would’ve started a fire near the trees that would slowly head to the trees and say “Either you give me those branches or I’ll let this fire slowly but surely turn you and all your fellow trees into ash. I’m looking forward to roasting some marshmallows while you all burn.”
Could have used the flamer can , aim for the hole the head goes in. Or light the can as a grenade.
