The fact the entire namesake of this series has been dropped has made this just be generic slop. It’s not even good slop but bargain bin slop. This series had so much potential but this is awful. We have no stakes at all, no villain, just MC flexing on everyone. What story is even trying to be told here? Because I don’t see a story at all just schoolyard argument about who is stronger.
This is probably the one manhwa I’ve read where there isn’t an actual primary antagonist, despite the amount of chapters and given the amount of times he’s traveled to the future. There’s no indication during his “future travels” that there’s been some adversary that was capable of facing Lu Sheng on an even playing field. Plus he’s getting so strong to the point where power scaling/balance is pretty much nonexistent.
Bruh, the power scaling as well as the pace of this manhua is so uncontrollable to manage at this point.
Back in the University arc, Martial saints were treated as a rank that is quite hard to achieve and tan shong yu was hyped up to be a beast.
Now after this (acknowledging the timeskip too), this tan zhong yu martial saint was just beaten like that in 1 chapter. If it’s short, the build up before was pointless, if the fight was extended, it will just feel like the fight is being dragged on.
Idk, if anyone remembers what the MC’s skills are at this point lol, other than a “one punch man” abilities.

For everyone saying there is no primary antagonist, there’s “arc” antagonists instead, when the mc gets strong obviously the martial saints aren’t a challenge anymore even though they were 100 chapters ago but the guide who is hopefully showing up in a few chapters willl be and we just found out a few chapter back that blue star is a low tier world that is used to collect pink crystal so it isn’t like there no where to go or anything like that. We saw mc get heavily injured by just 1 10th tier strike so he’s not overpowered in the verse I still think this story has some places to go. It’s not a primary antagonist kind of story I think it’s more of an over arching goal of saving humanity from the others worlds and monsters. Given that the ruler of the high tier planets will eventually be the big enemy. We also saw that the future world is a kind of simulation with will and isn’t necessarily destiny or guaranteed to happen. Anyways I like this story so frick
