I was about to say BS on this, no one can move faster than light–not even the speed guy. But “foresight” would make it possible. It still seems like a silly test that literally can’t be dodged with some sort of precog.

Do they not get that just having him be better than everyone right off tye bat with little to no observable effort and just informing us that he’s sooo impressive wow! Just makes this mc super boring? He’s like the most basic Mary Sue of them all. In fact this story could be renamed Super Impressive Mary Sue Breaks All Records in Shitty School
