That was an incredibly shít ending. So many interesting plot points either rushed or completely ignored over and we didn’t even get to see MCs girlfriend at the end.
Were this an adaption I’d say it got axed and that’s the reason for this, but it’s entirely original.

What a horrible ending. Why did they waste so much of the plot on the goddess and her contract? They could have cut all of that content from the story if they just were going to throw it all away unresolved. The only human in the story showed up in a single panel in the final chapter, why waste time talking about humans earlier on if they’re never going to be present? The time skip followed by this rushed conclusion makes it rather obvious this was axed. I thought the story was fun although too much padding. With an ending like this I’d rather it got axed hard instead.
