Theory time..
Wouldn’t the solution to the dukes dilemma be to spread the bloodline as much as possible? Thinning out the blood. Or would the daughters only be able to. Conceive a child by having it by another member of the family? Or would they only be able to conceive female? I mean the female descendants wouldn’t have to fulfill the mugwart condition to bear a child. If not.. Then without the incest the entire bloodline would consist of only females after a few generations. Duke.. Could just forbid incest By death penalty.. Problem solved
