Magic Academy’s Genius Blinker - Chapter 2
Comments for chapter "Chapter 2"
No need to escape if there’s no body to escape from
Because MC needed time to realize his Isekai, MC didn’t escape immediately. Now, MC must kill the pursuers instead. What was supposed to be a normal tutorial has turned into hell difficulty 💀.
Maybe I should stop playing fighting games because Isekai into them would be hell 😜
Okay, a lot of people are complaining in both this and other chapters, so let me explain.
I myself would have tried to use the character for the sake of the challenge, so I agree that it wouldn’t make sense for only him to use a character who has straight-up teleportation as his main skill.
In the novel, there’s a very important line that the manhwa left out
:
‘Numerous hardcore players took on the challenge, but they all gave up in the end.‘
Baek Yuseol wasn’t the only one using this character because only he tried, but because he was the only one successful at it.
Idk why the manhwa choose to exclude that but it was a kinda stupid chioce.
Anyways, I hope this solves the issue.
For simplicity sake, I get why they do it. But I feel it would make more sense and sort of have more meaning if the game they were playing in was a VR game or something akin to that in the future not from a dual monitor set up plus mouse and keyboard.
Not needing a whole full dive ordeal like in a pod like Murim Login or moonlight sculptor, but maybe like, unfortunately, SAO or just something more… ‘Real’ than mouse and keyboard. Like a helmet linked the the computer and using mouse and keyboard, or specialized controls. Why I’m partial to the SAO/ Half Prince/ Pod gaming isakai stuff, because, in the end, it is a gamified intent based kind of deal that can translate to a physical action.
I get it is easy to draw and is a shorthand for gaming but the Set up just pulls me out of my suspended belief. The translation of a skill like blink control should either be mentioned as feeling natural like an instinct, like the character had the skill and the new isakai guy’s brain shared that space, or having some struggle with it since he’d only have hit a key press and I assume click the where to land, but now has to do that off imagination or vector control.
It’s a small grip but we have VR tech and this is a very physically demanding change. Running, blinking, surviving. When I play games, that is the W key, a dodge key, a number button, and a mouse click. Three buttons with one hand at key moments and an index press with some arm and wrist movement. Not full sprinting and teleporting with perceptive shifts. I could maybe believe easier that it was a button press, a joystick forward, but an aimed FPOV through controls of a VR set up just needing to translate into real form.
so i think much of the potacial is gone because of a lot of strange things
the only thing that could be done to make him look like a trash character is that all the other characters of the game just had so much good skills that the other players were to lazy to learn a difficult character wjich (maybe) doesnt have much dmg output (yeah he killed a dragon but the biggest problem that the other players had was that magic was useless and he had fast attaks but the skillset of the mc is something like a counter beause he had o magic and is fast enough to evade the attaks if you “wasted” enough time on learning a character where you have much better alternatives) this depents on how good the other character are because if they have the abilitys that are not able to explain why you shouldnt just get the op character and put a few hours into it (you cant tell me there are no darksouls players in that world that would put 300 hours just to learn the basics on him)
It’s like playing a snail in Elona
How tf is this a dating sim and I’ve done some hard tutorials before but this is just…
so you had a character with infinite teleportation and your telling me only one person figured out how to use him
This is just too much. Imagine a Dark Souls or Elden Ring player saying they are the only one that can beat the game because they are the only person in the world that learned about parrying. This is the most OP character ever with infinite teleporting but noone else figured that out? The justification was that the Tutorial was too hard? Really? Tons of people would play that character just becaust the Tutorial was hard. The author wanted the MC to be special but was not great at justifying it.
garbage plot
ofc the mc is the only guy who mastered a random skill in a game that no one play
wasn’t the cooldown 1? why did it change midway.
random blink doko?
Sure. Controlling random distance values!
What about it is random, if you can anyhow control it?

This guy would be a cracked Geometry Dash player
