I wish he gave her that card not because of some promise he made but just because they were friends or at least because Dahliya is a obviously a talented craftswoman.
It feels somehow TOO wholesome, like the dad was some flawless man sent down from the heavens on a mission to be perfect at everything needed to progress the story without trouble or creativity.
I usually like super wholesome stuff but this story feels to realistic and the characters to deep to get away with the brushing it under the rug.
PS: I love this story so far just wanted to rant again even though the author will never see.

TBH, I’m liking the MC’s father more the MC herself. Maybe it’s because I’m a guy an can relate better to him than her, but regardless he was a such a great person and father. Apparently the grandfather was too.
I totally shed some tears this chapter, it was that touching. I wonder if Ozwald every re-married.
