That’s a typo right? It’s meant to be 30,000 not 300,000 dead? Cuz I think there were like 50,000 empire troops at the capital, 100,000 quanrong troops, and 100,000 dugu troops? There might be another 50,000 quanrong snuck into the capital I don’t remember

Zhou fan saving the Marshall at the brink of death is to be expected but this guy remains true to the emperor so loyal that if he’s asked to die he’ll gladly do it, I see him as a wild card who’ll remain loyal to the emperor even when he knows the truth, probably write it off as lies. At the final battle between Zhou fan and the emperor, our mc needs loyal people so it’s either the Marshall eats the blood worms or make a big decision.. this is assuming Zhou fan saves him though
