This is turning into a Chinese Speedrunner story.

Instead of having an ebb and flow, actual subplots, nuance and, well, more “substance”…
In these manhuas (I dub them the ‘Chinese Speedrunners’) they skip all of the little details for the main plot only.

- immediately walks into new place, immediately finds out treasure he needs is there, immediately walks into next female side protagonist who immediately knows where to go….
There’s no ebb and flow.

The ‘Chinese Speedrunner Manhua’ skips all those “unnecessary” pleasantries and goes straight for the main course, so to speak…
Im sure the novel is substantial and nuanced, though. Its a shame they’re not really fleshing the novel out into the manhua production.
