The translation isn’t that bad, there’s no way English is your first language if you struggle to read this…

Bad translation, super rare stone being sold for something else (and yet it was not miraculously stolen from the scammer by a cultivator), AND the MC breaks character to help someone else. What is this shit, why is it rated so high? Just because of the art? Come on guys, have higher standards.

Such terrible writing. Why’d the scammer get such a rare stone and then try to sell it as something else? Was it laying around in the rest of the common rocks he painted??? If so, why was it so rare then??? And why is Lao Pang just taking orders now without question, without reason, without any motivation to do so? None of the writer’s decisions are believable within the context of the story they created. They’re just using happenstance as a vehicle to drive specific plot items they want to hit. It’s so bad.

Servant Boy: “Please guard this door. Don’t let anyone in.”
Head Bodyguard: “No problem.”
He could at least be a little curious why the servant needs a door guarded while their employers are elsewhere. I’m starting to think this is just going to be another power-up, kill Thug #1-4 and their boss, move then repeat the cycle.
