I love the mentor angle with the werewolf. He comes off as a distinguished gentleman, but you get the feeling that a massive storm is roiling beneath the control. One can only imagine that he was an S-tier badass once upon a time. I love this story. It’s such a refreshing take on the isekai genre.

Well this just jumped up a few levels. I was expecting a funny story of being a connivence store clerk in shadow run, but instead we got a philosophical dialogue on personal growth and motivation.
