is the slave girl necessary? MC is immortal, so he is not in any sort of danger.
Now if next issue MC goes “ok, this is how you break seals, your sole purpose for existing at this point is to break any sort of sealing magic or exile spells that i may get hit with”. That would perfectly explain why MC would need to buy a slave, because he can’t trust none magically bound people with such tasks.
