And here I skip ahead. I just don’t like the teachers butting in. I always dislike it when teachers insert themselves into the student exams. There are plenty of other ways of upping the ante. Like dropping them into the wasteland or bringing in terrible monsters for them to fight. Why not just lock them in an empty, silent, blank room for a day and see who comes out sane? But once the teachers become part of the exam, it stops being objective, and it’s no longer fun to read. If the teachers were acting as NPCs that they had to take quests from, that would be different, because then their role would be limited to handling information and assisting, like, you know, acting like teachers. (Of course, no one has to share my opinion, but please don’t bash me for sharing mine.)
