Starts off alright but around chapter 20 the work just throws the pacing out the window. Seeing a comment that this is another in the Chinese ‘King’ genre it’s not that big of a surprise now.

So it’s the same thing as any other Chinese modern cultivation story, you’ve read one you’ve read them all.
This one has abrupt and jarring scene transitions, secondary characters that constantly get kidnapped and have to be rescued by mc, no explanation about different power levels or techniques and an incredibly edgy mc.
The translation is… slightly better than readable?
Overall, this one is about not the bottom of the barrel, but close. Only bother if you have nothing else that you can stomach. 4/10.

i was going to give it a 8 out 10 but after i read the novel i would give it a 6.9/10 bec some plot are mit missing or change
like where the Mc saved the teacher from dying or the bar where they were kids from his school and the girlfriend of his friend who where making fun of him and the Mc impress the bartender of his alcohol making skills and the wolf guy did not poison the girl why the fuck did u make it that he poison her in the novel he was just strong and everyone in the city was scared of him 6.9/10

Didn’t expect too much, I’ve read too many manhuas about returning from hell, cultivators who return on earth and op MC. Bug this one is actually pretty good, I’ve only read 3 chapters but art is good and the story isn’t bad. It’s a bit cliché (mc finds an old martial artist from a rich family with a hot grand daughter and tells him he is about to die…) I hope it won’t get too cliché but so far so good
so how is this new if this was here for 3 years?
