So according to the mangadex 16 is the last chapter and the series is completed.
This is the last chapter.
Now, I can’t say for certain that this was actually dropped/axed rather than “completed”, but I can say that if this always meant to end on chapter 16, then it should have been vastly different.
This chapter hints at lots of things yet to come and yet they never will because the series is “completed”. This shadow war with a scary hidden religion plotting to destroy the world, the human heroes learning their friend is actually alive, and we’ve never actually learned much about the voice talking to MC and later the other Arcana.
What is the point of any of that?
