Aight this should be fine. If you want to know what happens to Shizuru, LEMME TELL YA! Main man Sword King gets smacked with some World Tree bits and bobs and comes to his senses. Once he’s forcefully brought out of his pod and notices what’s going on, he stabs his eyes out so that Shizuru doesn’t affect him anymore. He is still obsessed with her, but now he is only obsessed with killing her. Him and MC chase her down across Japan for days until they finally obliterate her soul after countless evasions and her using life-saving treasures non-stop. My gods, it was so damn satisfying….
And man, that’s not even the tip of the iceberg for what’s to come. Reading this now, I can only tremble in excitement when I think of what else is to comes from the myriad of races to appear to the dark secrets hidden away mueheheheh…
I highly recommend reading the novel because it gets insane.
