Who’s she talking about? Cause it can’t be the Mc after he saved her and her future cause we all knew the other girl would come back not to mention after being spared once she pulled out a gun to kill her again.
1) Oh, come on, MC. It isn’t your first kill, not your 100th either. (You said it yourself) So why now all uppity about a criminal that would had no hesitation themselves.
2) Oh real smart sending your niece out with only a support. You know that the triads still exists? And they wouldn’t give up like in this story. They would pay for a hit. Enough that every upstart player would go after Se-Ah. Consequences be damned.
She wants to become a player and step into the cruel bloody environment full of killings,betrayals but doesnt want to kill or see blood ……. smh

Oh Lord, all of the modern angst about killing a human… especially since they have had humans killing each other quite messily in their little games. Aaaand, self defense is not murder. It is killing, but not murder. What the Triad group was planning WAS murder.
Sure, there might be some psych issues (because she wasn’t mentally prepared AND because everyone involved has been stupid AF for the last bunch of chapters) as it settle in her mind that the other player is actually dead, but she has actually killed people just a bloodily in her match. I mean she won by blowing big holes in the last two competitors with her arrows. So, no, the gore in a video game reaction wouldn’t happen.
Oh well, it was only a meh story anyway. Had some cool twists, but this is just plot breakingly stupid.

Author lost all respect I had for him.
It’s been awhile but in the novel the MC handled all of this discreetly without anyone the wiser but I remember I was still satisfied with the way he handled it. I think she later found out about it and was troubled by it but it felt more organic then this. I might be remembering a completely different novel though.
