About that blue energy
That blue energy around that thing is actually the divine soul of the Insect Emperor. He will possess a dude after everyone leaves. (He’s proficient in using exotic insects, and he has a book dedicate to records of all exotic insect in the world (I mentioned in the previous spoiler when Yang Kai first got his Soul Devouring Insect)). After taking possession over the body, he’s gonna be a dick toward Yang Kai for the whole Shadowed Star arc (from scheming a few things to destroy and kill Yang Kai to arranging some plots making some Origin Returning realm from a few sects overthrowing the Dragon Cave Mountain).
Note: For more in-depth details spoilers about the battle between the Insect Emperor’s group (those Origin Returning realm masters) and Dragon Cave Mountain’s force (Yang Kai’s force), it will be spoiled in the later chapters (when it’s getting near the arc).
For now, just know that He and the Corpse Spirit Race will be the main antagonists of the whole Starry Sky/ Heng Lou Star field arc.
Note: For more details about the Corpse Spirit Race (its strength, its weakness,…) and How the Insect Emperor is able to control the Corpse race will also be spoiled in the later chapters (when it’s getting near the arc).
