Not reincarnated… If you’d been reading my spoilers from then till now, you would have already known… I mentioned it many times about Yang Yan’s real identity
I’m kinda lazy to explain all of it again, so just know that:
Star Envoy is a Pseudo-Great Emperor with a duty of protecting designated Star Fields from any cultivators coming from Star Boundary to harass them. And Yang Yan is assigned to protect Heng Lou star field.
Star Court is a collection of Star Field Masters and Star Envoys and is led by rotating Great Emperors. Their main purpose is to monitor the countless star fields in order to ensure that no one is harassing those star fields (basically protecting it).
The Insect Emperor (also a Pseudo-Great Emperor) came to Heng Lou star field with intention to consume all of the star source (consume is different from refine, Refining it to become the star master, but Consuming it is literally destroying the star for your own good.) So, they have a war, and that’s how Yang Yan created the Star Emperor sect and stuffs.
Yang Yan got seriously injured and fell into coma (her real body is asleep in Emperor Garden, one of the 3 forbidden zones in Shadowed Star) while the Insect Emperor’s physical body got destroyed, but his soul is still intact, and that’s why he possessed that dude in the Flowing Flame Sand Field planning to get revenge.
Note: Yang Yan has a name of the Starry Sky Great Emperor, but she aint a Great Emperor. That name is made up for her by Heng Lou star field people.
Differences between Great Emperor, Pseudo-Great Emperor, and Emperor realm cultivators are already explained in the chapter of which Yang Kai first explained about the cultivation system in the Starting world (probably chapter 34), so, if you wanna know the differences, you can go back to read that spoiler about cultivation paths and realms.
Just know that every Star Envoy is in Pseudo-Great Emperor, but not all Pseudo-Great Emperors are Star Envoy. It’s the same as all the good guys are being Star Envoys, but not all Star Envoys are good guys.
Yeah must be a natural Refining body, like that veil girl had the natural Alchemy body.
