Kekeke, I’ll really believe all of this farce if he didn’t explained his plans.
He’s acting despondent because he knew Ru Meng would come fetch him and lead him to the demon realm. It’s all an act. Ru Meng is most likely the daughter of a demon saint, or a similar high ranking existence that the demons fear.
He’s turned into the demon guy and changed back like 3 times, so I’m not sure why this time he is so depressed unless he is ashamed of what he did to Yun’er and how people see him now?
