The best realistic solution now is if YK gets the “benefit” from the star boundary element that will be released when the Moon emperor dies. This would have been a great point to get the power and escape back. But the mission of YK was to help him escape so it would be such a waste, to spend so much time for nothing. Also, he still has to resolve the “Inheritance” from the Spirit Mountain dragon king, so he can’t leave without breaking the flow of the story.
