I’m getting Deja Vu, new Old Demon?
PEI (from myriad demons heaven)Standing on the final island, attempted to kill yang by launching an attack at him from solid ground, while yang was spending most of his energy running the Scripture walking on the blood lake, but luckily the lake eats anything moving backwards, ppl, or his attack.
After Pei’s failed attack, he retreated and hid amongst the other people who were waiting to refine the “last” Scripture. Which requires # of people to do it. Yang and Qu being the required number. (Too bad he didn’t just kill him anyways and wait for the next person to arrive… but that guy had convinced the remainder to defend him so they dont have to wait…)
And… as a core diciple of a paradise cave heaven, he probably also has a defensive protective treasure on him… similar to… but stronger than the one madam lan gave to yang kai.
The enemy soul invader, played duck duck goose, with the possible refiners who reached his skeleton, (comparing best vessel) and when he spotted Yang and his amazing blood vitality, both from dragon and immortal tree, picked him… If I remember correctly, it has been almost 50+ years?

since yang last used his emperor cuts the soul blade, with heavens breaker strike… (it gets stronger the longer it is charged) but it barely effected this enemy.
(the enemies soul body… is like a grey cloud, whenever he damages it… it just takes minor damage and reforms…)
Was it insect emperor who was the last to try?

Oh… i remember now! It was when when great demon gods soul clone invaded and failed, then self destruction in an attempt to corrupt him while he was promoting to emperor 3!
