used golden plume feather sealed ability from the chicken holy spirit to kill suns crow and get fire element, used madam Lans sealed ability bead to cripple the beast enough that he could finish it…
the STORY of the golden wolf, is that it was a 6th rank peak beast along with the golden monkey who fight eachother alot. After their fight, the injured ape went to dingfeng city for healing resources where it got it got clobbered by yang kai, BECOMING even more injured… whereupon after fleeing it was spotted by the golden wolf, killed, and eaten… Allowing the wolf to freshly promote to 7th rank while injured and unstable! (World collapses after that and yang finds it here!)
unfortunately the strength of 6th and 7th rank fighting spreads wide and was spotted by a greedy arse who wanted to steal it from him.
that guy tried to recruit someone nearby sneakily at first to stop yang, (not telling him why because he was so greedy he wanted to hog the 7th rank core all to himself) otherwise that guy would have known WHY he was stopping yang…
after yang escaped… that guy was a sore looser and told EVERYONE that yang has a 7th rank gold core… so all the greedy robbers are hunting him… (and now it can be deduced that word has gotten out to those in the know, that yang has 6/7 of the high rank resources to reach high rank open heaven)

Sometimes I can’t tell if this man is blessed by the heavens with a level of luck more absurd than king from OPM or just built different
