Logically, cultivation would normally work the same way it always has… :gendo thinking:

By progressing through the stages step by step in order…

So there should be a method to promote from gr8 emperor into OH1, and then sequentially progress all the way to OH9 and beyond with no limits… by refining them all at the same time in balance…

So the method of refining the 7 elements one at a time, no specific order, is a cheating method, to… “suddenly” become a higher rank, therefore has limits.

eg: as long as they force everyone under them to use this method,
nobody can bypass their limit, so the rulers will always be the strongest, so long as they do what these people are doing now…
Making sure nobody can become 9th rank :knyfe:
So only the “ruling class” can.

And those rulers will always be the strongest as long as they cripple everyones future potential… :fire:

that it was because any humans trying to become open heaven

Were all hunted down by the at the time by ancient spirit & beast high rank dominators…

so had to sneakily do it to promote directly to high rank and then seal them with heavens punishment.

so either the normal method was lost, or it was never learned,
or
places that did know it, had cheaters who jumped ahead to becoming the rulers, force this method on everyone, wiping out knowledge of the true path, and cut off that path for others…
