And this is why smaller civilizations of good & righteous society, hardly exist in history…
Because they need enough military power to defend themselves…
But when faced with overwhelmingly powerful evil forces that use innocent cannon fodder, who show up, they have to become cannon fodder themselves if they can’t flee, hide, or all fight to the death…
(Unless they have connections & wealth to pay them off/become backline supply line support)
They keep spouting this nonsense about being the righteous 36 caveheavens… but their actions show otherwise…
It’s basically the 36 don’t even treat those outside their ruling class as humans/cultivators, but as resources &tools…
Maybe they did this same thing to the person who promoted to 9th rank in the past? And his rampage… was just propaganda of him being forced to fight hordes of cannon fodder they sent to eliminate him?
