The most disappointing thing about martial peak at this stage is that it’s devolved into a simple numbers game. The scope of the ninth rank was supposed to be larger than all the previous ranks and grades put together. And one would expect that the variety of skills would too be larger than the gulf between heaven and earth. But all we get instead is 1+1>1.
