Its like the difference between someone trying to fuse the power of hot and cold…

By the normal 90% moron version most western people do… by putting their fridge right next to their oven… so they both ise more electricity and interfere with eachother…

The ancient and smart person way, of having generators that seperate hot and colf naturally, directing it towards the fireplace and the cold storage, so the operation of one, empowers and supports the other… no wasteful reliance on electricity scammers, but you also could have electrical controls to augment and improve those natural operations…

I don’t want him to become stronger than this old man. That will be too much of a power up.

It would be nice if he could leave this world with a more moderate power up and instead tricks this old man to escape (brain over brawn). Even better if he can trick this old man into losing most of his powers since the old man is planning to go on a murderous rampage as soon as he escapes.
