Morning describes the earliest period of human life, at the time the human were infants and they walk with four legs. Humans are walking with two legs in afternoon and it defines the mid-stages of life. Three in the night, end stages of life defined by the night and humans were walks with three legs in the night, the third leg is a cane.

You know the sphinx who said that riddle was Greek. The riddle was said to Oedipus by a sphinx blocking the entrance to Thebes not letting anyone in or out. After 30 minutes Oedipus answered correctly, the sphinx was so in shock that it rolled over and died, the trapped citizens of thebes thanked Oedipus and made him king hence the name of the book Oedipus Rex (or king Oedipus). This is why you need to check the source material before jumping to conclusions. also the sphinx only has a human head it has no human arms just lion paws. wow I sound like a nerd
