I think MC (F-Yuan) regained his past memories so he is a favourite of everyone. He is currently undergoing the test or whatever to measure his potential grade.
So far in the story everyone sees his brother (F-Zen) who is “naive” and has low self-esteem as it can be seen.
However the unknowing people in the village will switch their favouritism when they measure the MC to have only 3rd grade potential and his brother to have top grade 1 potential for cultivation.
